Full passports are required and must
be valid for a minimum of six months
after the last day of your holiday.
Any
passenger with an Israeli visa or any
stamp issued at an Israeli border
crossing will not be permitted to
disembark in some Arab countries.
A new passport should be obtained
before leaving home.
No visas are currently required for US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand passport holders visiting Italy, Croatia, Greece, Malta and Cyprus.
Turkey does require a visa (except for New Zealand citizens) which currently costs US$20 (£10 for UK citizens; US $60 for Canadians). This can be obtained at the airport when arriving by air. When arriving by sea on board the Aegean Odyssey, we will obtain the visa on your behalf and add the cost to your onboard account.
Tunisia requires visas for Australia and New Zealand passport holders, which are obtainted by the ship on arrival. The cost of this visa will be added to your onboard account.
Albania, Lebanon and Syria Group visas are obtained by the ship on arrival.
Libya Group visas are obtained by the ship on arrival. US passport holders are currently covered under this group visa due to a recent change in policy by the Libyan government. Please note that Voyages to Antiquity cannot be held responsible in the event this policy is reversed before or during the cruise operation.
Egypt Visas are obtained by the ship on arrival in Alexandria or by our agent on arrival at Cairo Airport. In both cases the cost of the visa (US$16) will be added to your onboard account.
Jordan Group visas are obtained by the ship on arrival in Aqaba, but is a fee of US$15 payable on departure from Amman Airport.
